Clipper® Wire Hook System
The Clipper® Wire Hook System from Flexco provides for a quick and economical installation process. The system uses a low-profile fastener allowing the belt to operate quietly and interface seamlessly with the conveyor components. The double-staggered-grip pattern doesn’t degrade the integrity of the belt carcass.

Alligator® Lacing System
Alligator® Lacing System by Flexco offers an economical, low-profile splice that is hammer applied - requiring no special installation tools. The one-piece design provide uniform tension across the belt width and it is engineered to prevent pieces from working loose from belt.
Dura-Splice and Maxi-Splice
These belt clamp fasteners for elevator belts fit all pulley diameters and their vice-like grip between three heavy-duty, grooved plates is designed to remain secure. They put an end to the double belt-thickness and costly extra belting waste of lap and butt rider splices, plus there’s no problem of metal-to-metal contact. When should I use Dura-Splice or Maxi-Splice instead of a standard mechanical fastener?
Dura-Splice and Maxi-Splice are belt clamp fasteners purpose-built for elevator belts, not general conveyor splicing. They use a vice-like grip between three heavy-duty grooved plates and fit all pulley diameters with one size, which eliminates the double belt-thickness and wasted material that comes with traditional lap or butt rider splices. When do I need belt cement or adhesive instead of a mechanical fastener?
Adhesives like Polycol A&B are used for Thermofix joining of belts with a PET-fabric traction layer, bonding the belt carcass and its rubber coatings without any mechanical hardware. This approach is typically used when a smooth, gapless splice is required — mechanical fasteners and lacing systems both leave a raised or jointed profile at the splice, while a properly cemented joint runs flush with the rest of the belt. Adhesive splicing generally requires more controlled installation conditions and cure time than a hammer-applied or press-fit mechanical splice, so it's best suited to shop installations or applications where splice profile and smoothness matter more than installation speed.
How do I choose between Standard and Non-Sparking Dura-Splice fasteners?
Dura-Splice and Maxi-Splice fasteners are available in Standard (zinc-plated cast ductile iron) or Non-Sparking (cast bronze) versions. Standard fasteners are the right choice for typical industrial environments. Non-Sparking bronze fasteners are necessary anywhere combustible dust, flammable vapors, or other spark-sensitive conditions are present — the same category of environments that call for FR/SC belting — since a ferrous metal fastener striking a pulley or guard could otherwise generate a spark. If your facility has any explosion-risk classification, confirm you're specifying the non-sparking option.
