GenStar® precision bearings
ABEC-1 precision bearing in an IronGrip carbon steel housing with an insert-molded polymer insert, for high-performance conveyors.
Machined ABEC-1 bearings
Press-fit “CB” style with an ABEC-1 precision core, a cost-effective step up from semi-precision.
GenII® semi-precision bearings
IronGrip housing with a special core bearing, machined-bearing performance at a lower cost: up to 10 times the life of a standard commercial bearing and up to 750 SFM.
Flanged non-precision bearings
Swage or press-fit, for general-purpose gravity and powered rollers. Frantz tests them to exceed the CEMA standard of 1 million revolutions.
Power Swage bearings
A swage-adaptive design with high gripping power, for high-impact conveyor applications.

Frantz skate wheels and guide wheels

Conveyor and skate wheels
Low-profile, light and medium duty wheels in steel, stainless, aluminum and plastic, with Tortoise Shell® versions for heavier duty.
Idler and guide wheels
Larger diameters for stability, with the same bearing technology as the conveyor wheels. Tortoise Shell® versions available.
Hollow core steel wheels
All-steel wheels with no internal components, for applications that call for metal instead of plastic.
Frantz sheaves and pulley wheels
Ball-bearing sheaves from 1-1/4 in to 4-31/32 in outside diameter, rated 51 to 471 lb per sheave.
Round groove sheaves
A radiused groove for round belting, cable or rope. Sixteen sizes, 1-1/4 in to 4-1/16 in outside diameter, with groove radii from 7/64 in to 17/64 in and bores from 5/32 in to 5/8 in.
Flat groove sheaves
A flat groove between two flanges, for flat belts, straps and edge guiding. Five sizes, 2-1/4 in to 4-31/32 in, with a 3/8 in or 1/2 in bore, rated 120 to 356 lb.
Single flange and idler sheaves
The 2312 single flange sheave (2-1/4 in, three 1/8 in holes in the flange) and the 0301 Tortoise Shell® flat idler sheave and guide wheel (1-31/32 in).
Frantz ball transfers
For transfer tables, work stations and anywhere loads need to move in any direction.
Flange mount
Bolts through a flange to the table surface. The 1100 has a 1 in main ball, rated 150 lb with a carbon steel or stainless ball and 65 lb with a polypropylene ball.
Stud mount
Threads into a tapped hole or fastens with a nut from below. The 900 and 1000 take a 1/4-20, 5/16-18 or 3/8-16 stud; 1 in main ball, 150 lb, carbon steel or all-stainless.

What is the difference between precision, semi-precision and non-precision conveyor bearings?
Precision bearings such as GenStar use a ground ABEC-1 bearing for the smoothest, quietest running and the longest life at higher speeds. Semi-precision bearings such as GenII give machined-bearing performance at a lower cost. Non-precision (unground) flanged bearings are the economical choice for gravity and slower powered rollers.
How do I choose the right conveyor bearing?
Start with the roller: the tube's outside diameter and wall gauge, and the axle size and shape (round or hex). Then consider speed, load, and whether the bearing is pressed or swaged into the tube. Send those details and we will match the Frantz bearing.
Are Frantz products available in metric sizes?
Frantz conveyor bearings, skate wheels and ball transfers are made in inch sizes, for roller tubes from 1 in to 3-1/2 in. If you need a metric size, tell us what you have and we will check with Frantz.
