Should I choose a skatewheel or a roller flexible conveyor?
Skatewheel conveyors suit light to medium cartons with smooth, flat bottoms and are lighter and easier to curve. Roller conveyors give continuous support, so they handle heavier packages and items with soft or uneven bottoms better.
How much weight can a flexible gravity conveyor carry?
It depends on the model. FMH NestaFlex ratings are 200 lb per foot for the NestaFlex 200 roller model, 226 lb per foot for the 226 skatewheel model and 376 lb per foot for the heavy-duty 376 models.
How long can a flexible conveyor extend?
NestaFlex 226, 376 AL/FL and 200 models run from about 8 feet to 60 feet. The NestaFlex 376 PL runs from 20 to 68 feet. All can curve up to 180 degrees.
What do AL and FL mean on the NestaFlex 376?
AL has adjustable-height legs; FL has fixed-height legs. Both carry 376 lb per foot.
Can I add power later?
