Tapco CC-LP HD Low-Profile Elevator Bucket Dimensions
The CC-LP HD is Tapco's molded low-profile follow-on to the CC-HD. It packs high capacity into a shallower front-to-back depth, so buckets can be spaced closer together for more throughput at the same belt speed. Tapco has moved many of its larger CC-HD sizes to this design.

Replacing a CC-HD? If you run a CC-HD 8x6, 13x6 or 10x7 through 16x7, order the CC-LP in the same nominal size: it is Tapco's current build for that size. The CC-HD 18x7 and 20x7 are still made standard-depth; see the CC-HD chart.
Shop CC-LP low-profile buckets
WL = water level; use WL + 10% as usable capacity. For CC-LP HD low-profile buckets, Tapco recommends a minimum spacing of the nominal projection minus 1"; the Min. spacing column gives the figure for each size. Tolerances: capacity ±3%, dimensions A, B and C ±3/16". Figures per Tapco published data. Urethane and nylon are quoted to order.
** Modified (cut down) from a standard CC-HD bucket. That is why the 11 × 5 and 14 × 6 hold less than the next size down. ▲ The 14 × 6 was designed to fit Hunter Mfg. Grizzly elevators. Standard bolt holes are drilled on the WL (water level) line, ±1/4", and drilled 1/32" oversize.
Installing them
Tapco recommends fanged elevator bolts with nylon insert lock nuts on pulleys 6" and over, and No. 3 Eclipse slotted-head bolts on pulleys under 6", with a flat steel (fender) washer inside the bucket under each nut. Buckets can be intermixed with existing steel or plastic buckets; check clearances and balance first.

FAQ
Why choose a low-profile bucket?
Because it is shallower, the buckets can be set closer together. More buckets per foot of belt means more throughput at the same belt speed, often without changing the head pulley or casing.
Which capacity figure should I use?
Use WL + 10%, water level plus 10%, as the usable capacity for engineering purposes.
Can I mix low-profile buckets with my existing buckets?
Yes, buckets can be intermixed, but projection varies between styles and makers. Check the elevator's clearances and balance, or send us your current bucket and we will match it.
I run a CC-HD. Which size do I order?
Order the same nominal size. Tapco now builds the CC-HD 8x6, 13x6 and 10x7 through 16x7 in this molded low-profile design, so the CC-LP in your size is the current equivalent for your leg. The CC-HD 18x7 and 20x7 are still made standard-depth.
