Replacement Conveyor Rollers: PVC, Stainless and Steel
Gravity and driven rollers matched to your conveyor from a few measurements, whatever brand it is. From a handful of rollers to full pallets, including PVC and stainless rollers for wet, washdown and food areas.

Any brand
Matched from diameter, length and axle, not from a part number alone.
Washdown ready
PVC tubes with stainless axles and stainless bearings for wet areas.
By the pallet
Replacement sets and full re-rolls, packed on pallets for truck freight.
Shipped worldwide
Jealco has supplied US-made equipment to customers abroad since 1950.
1.9" PVC rollers for wet and washdown areas
The roller we ship most: Interroll Series 1100 light-duty gravity rollers with a PVC tube, supplied by the pallet for produce-packing lines.
Interroll Series 1100, PVC tube
- Tube PVC, 1.9" OD, 0.110" wall
- Axle 7/16" hex, aluminum or stainless steel
- Bearings Stainless steel balls, greased
- Length Made to your between-frame width
- Lengths we supply often 15.88", 23.88", 31.88"
For cartons, cases and totes on gravity and push conveyors in packing, cold rooms and other wet areas.
Why PVC in wet areas
- Corrosion The tube cannot rust
- Cleaning Smooth surface, easy to wash
- Noise Quieter than steel
- Weight Lighter to handle and change
Choose a stainless steel axle for full washdown; an aluminum axle suits areas that are damp but not hosed down. Interroll uses FDA-compliant grease in Series 1100 bearings.
PVC is for light loads. For heavy cases, impact or pallets, see the steel and stainless options below.
Choose a roller material
Pick by the load and by how wet the area is.
| Material | Best for | Wet areas | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| PVC | Light cartons and totes, quiet lines | Yes, with a stainless axle for washdown | Not for heavy loads or impact |
| Stainless steel | Food and washdown with heavier loads | Yes | Costs more than PVC or galvanized |
| Galvanized steel | General duty, damp or outdoor areas | Damp, not full washdown | The coating can wear through over time |
| Zinc-plated or bare steel | Dry warehouses, heavier loads | No | Rusts in wet areas |
Steel and galvanized
For receiving lines, assembly and pallet handling, anywhere loads are heavy or rough. Grooved and sprocketed versions for powered conveyor.
Stainless steel
Strength and corrosion resistance together, for food, chemical and washdown lines that carry more than PVC can.
Driven and motorized
Sprocketed, grooved (O-ring) and poly-V rollers, and 24 V motorized rollers for zoned powered conveyor.
Roller sizes and axles
Diameter, length and axle are what define a replacement roller.
| Common roller diameter | Typical use |
|---|---|
| 1-3/8" (1.375") | Light-duty gravity conveyor and flexible conveyor |
| 1.9" | The most common size for gravity and powered conveyor |
| 2-1/2" and 2-9/16" | Heavier loads, pallets and wider frames |
Hex axles
7/16" hex (common on 1.9" rollers) and 11/16" hex (heavier duty).
Round axles
1/4" round on lighter rollers, and larger round axles on heavy rollers.
Retention
Most axles are spring-loaded on one end so the roller drops into the frame; some are fixed or threaded.
What to send us
Diameter
The outside diameter of the roller tube, and the wall thickness if you know it.
Between-frame width
The inside distance between the conveyor side frames, plus the overall axle length.
Axle
Hex or round, its size and material, and spring-loaded or fixed.
Material and area
PVC, stainless, galvanized or steel, and whether the area is dry, damp or washed down.
Drive
Plain gravity, grooved, sprocketed (chain size and teeth) or motorized.
Quantity and a photo
How many, a photo of the roller and conveyor, and any part number on the roller or frame.

Conveyor roller FAQ
Can you match a roller if I don't know the brand?
Usually, yes. Send the tube diameter, the between-frame width, the axle type and size, and a photo. Most rollers are defined by those measurements, not by the brand of the conveyor.
Are PVC conveyor rollers good for washdown?
Yes, for light loads. The PVC tube cannot rust and is easy to clean. For full washdown, pair it with a stainless steel axle and stainless bearings; an aluminum axle suits areas that are damp but not hosed down.
What is the difference between roller length and spindle length?
Roller length is the tube. Spindle (axle) length is the overall length of the axle, which is longer because it passes through the side frames. A 23.88 inch roller with a 25 inch spindle fits a conveyor about 24 inches between frames.
What size are most conveyor rollers?
1.9 inch diameter rollers with 7/16 inch hex axles are the most common on gravity and powered conveyor. 1-3/8 inch rollers are used on light-duty and flexible conveyor, and 2-1/2 inch rollers on heavier conveyor.
Do you supply rollers in bulk?
Yes. We supply single replacements and full pallets, and ship by truck freight in the US or for export.
What is an Interroll Series 1100 roller?
Interroll's light-duty gravity conveyor roller, made with steel, stainless, aluminum or PVC tubes. Interroll describes it for gravity and push conveyors and for food processing, with FDA-compliant grease in the bearings.
Send the diameter, the frame width and a photo
Tube diameter, between-frame width, axle, material and quantity. We will match the roller and quote it with freight.
