What is the difference between BestFlex 1.5 and 1.9?
Both carry 100 lb per foot at 0 to 120 ft/min. The 1.5 uses 1.5 inch rollers for a more compact unit and comes 30 inches wide as standard. The 1.9 uses heavier 1.9 inch 16 gauge rollers, comes in 18, 24, 30 and 36 inch widths, has quick-change drive belts and offers optional photo-eye zero-pressure accumulation.
How fast does a flexible powered conveyor run?
BestFlex runs at an adjustable 0 to 120 feet per minute (0 to 36.6 m/min), forward and reverse.
What power does BestFlex need?
120 volt single-phase AC. If your site runs 220 to 240 volts or 50 Hz, tell us when you ask for a quote so we can confirm the right electrical setup for your country.
What is zero-pressure accumulation?
Photo eyes between the rollers detect packages and stop each zone so packages queue without pushing against each other. It is optional on the BestFlex 1.9.
Should I choose powered or gravity flexible conveyor?
Gravity conveyor is lower in cost and needs no power, but depends on slope and package weight and operators often push cartons along. Powered conveyor moves any package at a set speed, which pays off in high-volume docks and long trailers.
