Cross-Reference or Replace an Industrial Bearing
When a bearing fails, is discontinued, or you only have the worn one in hand, an independent distributor can still match it. Send the number — or the old part — and Jealco cross-references a replacement across makers, bearings and conveyor skate wheels alike, and exports it if you need it shipped.
Any make
Independent, not tied to one catalog — bearing numbers cross-reference across brands.
Obsolete & hard-to-find
Discontinued and house-brand bearings matched to a current equivalent.
Matched from the number
The designation gives us the bore, OD and width to match precisely.
Exporting since 1950
Sourcing and export handled together, worldwide.
Start here: what do you have?
Send whatever you can read or measure. A clear number matches fastest; dimensions work when the markings are gone.
| Your situation | Send us | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| You have the bearing, number readable | A clear photo of the markings, or the full number and suffix | Identify it and cross-reference a current equivalent |
| Markings worn off | Bore, OD and width (mm or inch), plus the type and any seals | Identify it by dimensions and match it |
| It is a mounted unit (pillow block, flange) | The housing style and the insert number (e.g., UCP205), plus shaft size | Match the housing and insert, or the complete unit |
| It is a conveyor skate wheel | Wheel diameter, bore / axle size, tread material and bearing type | Match the wheel and its bearing |
| Discontinued or house brand | The old number even if superseded | Cross-reference to a current equivalent of the same type |
What the bearing number tells us
Industrial bearing numbering is largely standardized, so a clear designation usually matches straight across makers. These are the details that pin down the exact match.
Bore × OD × width
The three dimensions that define the fit on the shaft and in the housing.
Type
Deep-groove ball, tapered or spherical roller, needle, or thrust.
Seals & shields
Open, shielded (ZZ / 2Z) or sealed (2RS / RS) for the environment.
Internal clearance
Standard, or C3 / C4 for heat, press fits or heavier loads.
Mounting
Insert bore with setscrew or eccentric collar, and the housing style.
Brand & suffix
Maker and any suffix — precision class, cage, or lubricant.
Bearings & wheels we cross-reference
Deep-groove ball
The standard workhorse — 6000, 6200 and 6300 series.
Tapered & spherical roller
For heavy radial and axial loads and shock duty.
Mounted units
Pillow blocks, flange and take-up units, and insert bearings.
Needle & thrust
Compact radial and axial-load bearings.
Conveyor skate wheels
Gravity and skatewheel conveyor wheels and their bearings.
Specialty & corrosion-resistant
Stainless, sealed-for-life and high-temperature bearings.
Brands we cross-reference
As an independent distributor we cross-reference across makes and match your bearing to a current equivalent — because industrial bearing numbers are largely interchangeable between manufacturers, a clear number usually matches directly. For conveyor skate wheels we supply Frantz and other makers.
Bearing cross-reference FAQ
Can you cross-reference a bearing between brands?
Usually, yes. Industrial bearing numbering is largely standardized, so a clear designation — for example a 6205-2RS — matches across manufacturers. As an independent distributor we match your number to whichever maker has it, including a current equivalent when the original brand is discontinued. Send the number and we will confirm the match.
What if the number is worn off?
Send the bore, outside diameter and width (in mm or inch), the type (ball, tapered roller, and so on) and whether it is open, shielded or sealed. Those identify the bearing by specification so we can match it even without a readable number.
Can you match a mounted bearing unit, like a pillow block?
Yes. Tell us the housing style — pillow block, 2- or 4-bolt flange, or take-up — the insert number if you have it, and the shaft size. We match the housing and insert, or supply the complete unit.
Do you handle conveyor skate wheels?
Yes. Send the wheel diameter, the bore or axle size, the tread material and the bearing type, and we match the wheel and its bearing. We supply Frantz and other skate-wheel makers and can cross-reference across them.
Not the part you came for? We cross-reference and replace industrial parts across the board — gearboxes, motors, elevator buckets, bearings and skate wheels. Send a nameplate, a part number, or the worn part itself and we match a current equivalent.

A clear photo of the markings, or the bore, OD and width, is enough to start. We will confirm the cross-reference, the price and the lead time — and handle export if you need it shipped.
