Identify and Replace an Industrial Part
Have a part that failed, went obsolete, or lost its label? As an independent distributor exporting since 1950, Jealco identifies it and cross-references a current equivalent across makers — from the nameplate, the number, or the worn part itself. Start with what you are replacing.
What are you replacing?
Pick the closest match and the next page tells you exactly what to send. Not sure which it is? Email a photo and we will route it.
Gearbox / speed reducer
Worm, helical or shaft-mount reducers matched by ratio, torque, frame and shaft.
Gearbox replacement → Nameplate ratio, input/output, mountingElectric motor
AC and DC motors cross-referenced by HP, speed, frame, enclosure and mounting.
Motor replacement → Nameplate HP, RPM, voltage, frame, TEFC/ODPElevator bucket
Bucket elevator cups matched by style, size, material and mounting pattern.
Bucket replacement → Projection × depth × length, material, bolt holesBearing or skate wheel
Bearings, mounted units and conveyor skate wheels matched from the number or dimensions.
Bearing cross-reference → Bearing number, or bore × OD × widthOne rule, whatever the part: send what identifies it
Almost every industrial part can be matched from one of three things. The more you can send, the faster and tighter the match.
The nameplate or tag
A clear photo of the nameplate, data tag or stamped markings is the single most useful thing — it usually identifies the part outright.
The part number
The maker's number or designation, even if the brand is discontinued or it is a house-brand number — we cross-reference it to a current equivalent.
The part itself, measured
When the markings are gone, the key dimensions — bores, shaft, frame, mounting pattern — let us match it by specification.
Why an independent distributor can match it
A single-brand supplier can only sell you what is in their own catalog. Because we are not tied to one line, we match the part to whatever the job needs.
Across makers
We cross-reference between manufacturers, so a discontinued part from one maker can be matched to a current equivalent from another.
Obsolete & house brands
Superseded numbers and private-label parts matched to a current, available equivalent of the same type and duty.
Sourced and exported together
We handle the match and the export as one — documentation, packing and worldwide shipping included.
Finding a replacement: FAQ
I do not know the brand or part number — can you still help?
Yes. Send a clear photo of the part and its nameplate or markings, plus a note on what it does and the key sizes you can measure. Identifying the part from a photo and dimensions is routine for us. If you are not sure which category it falls into, email it and we will point you to the right path.
The part is discontinued or a house brand. Is a replacement possible?
Usually. As an independent distributor we cross-reference across manufacturers, so a superseded or private-label part can be matched to a current equivalent of the same type, rating and mounting. We confirm it will drop in before you buy.
What is the fastest way to get a quote?
Go to the page for the kind of part you are replacing — gearbox, motor, elevator bucket, or bearing / skate wheel — and use its form, or email a nameplate photo to sales@jealco.com. A photo of the markings plus the application is enough to start.
Can you ship the replacement internationally?
Yes. Exporting is what we have done since 1950. We handle the export documentation, packing and freight, and can match parts to your local voltage, frequency and mounting standards where that applies.
Not sure which it is? Send a photo.
Email a picture of the part and its nameplate and we will identify it, cross-reference a replacement, and quote the price, lead time and export — or pick the matching page above to start with the right details.
